Apparently the “snez” pronunciation is actually a British thing. I’m not sure if it’s due to how it was initially marketed in each region, or just chance that it went differently. It’s probably only now in the age of Youtube, with people looking nostalgically back at it, that people from the two regions are realizing that they were pronouncing it differently all along.
