Andrew: I’ve heard that viral videos can actually be a curse for YouTube channels, which might be why you have such a low views to subscribers ratio. People see you “Mom reacts to son masturbating” video, a small fraction of them subscribe to see what else you have. But then your other stuff isn’t like that and doesn’t interest them, so they don’t watch your other videos. YT’s algorithms see that your videos don’t get clicked on by your subscribers often, so it doesn’t often show them to your subscribers, and so you get few views. At least, that’s how the theory goes – no one knows exactly how the algorithms work, so that might not be true at all.
