Andrew’s confusion with Nick Cage here is rather amusing, given the fact that Nick Cage (born Nicolas Coppola) chose the “Cage” surname for show business inspired by… you guessed it, Luke Cage. (And the ghostrider connection later in the show makes this double amusing.)

On Bravely Exvius, it does hit a pretty steep difficulty slope. The designers expect you to put in at least some time grinding, instead of just doing the required story missions. Thankfully with the auto-battle and the relatively easy (compared to their rewards) vortex quests, grinding isn’t much of a pain. Just go into the vortex, auto battle while doing something else, and pick up an easy 30k experience for 15 energy (or 15k for 10 energy if you can’t do that one yet).

Oh, and make sure to get a character that can cast Cura; it’s pretty much a necessity. The healer you get as part of the story is a good choice if you don’t get any from rare summons. Try to take advantage of the daily rare summon for 250 lapis if you can afford it; as the difficulty climbs, a few premium characters will help a ton, and lapis is relatively easy to come by in this game compared to premium currency in other games. Check the rankings page on the wiki to see if you’ve gotten one that’s worth putting time into levelling: https://exviuswiki.com/Unit_Rankings

Since we don’t have a shoutbox figured out yet, I’ll just say this here: Hot damn, what a speech! Melania’s not gonna be plagiarizing this one, methinks…
